Kristen is a digital content writer at Digital Strike. She spends most of her time keeping up on industry trends so that she can craft copy that readers (and search algorithms) love. She loves that her job is basically learning new things and then writing about those things. Her past experiences include work as an editor, content writer, and adjunct professor. These experiences helped foster her passion for research, attention to detail, and sharing knowledge with others. At Digital Strike, she uses that passion to help clients meet their goals, and hopes to continue to grow as a writer and lifelong learner. As a copywriter/content strategist here at Digital Strike, Kelly gets the unique opportunity every day to flex both sides of her writing brain to attract search engines AND humans alike. In short, it’s what she loves to do—and not only is she good at it, but she’s been getting results for clients across the St. Louis area (and beyond) for over half a decade in the industry. Most importantly, her writing is not one-size-fits-all. Kelly takes a personalized approach that calls attention to the fine details and cuts to the core message. She works hard for each Digital Strike client to ensure that their site is well-optimized which, in turn, helps build their brand reputation. She’s eager to dig deep into new writing strategies that will influence the way your customers think, feel, and DO. But outside of work, Kelly highlights as a “professional” karaoke singer on the weekends, Netflix expert, candle hoarder, and overall Internet addict. She has many fun ideas rolling around in her head—next to the few screws in there—and Digital Strike is the perfect outlet for her creativity and out-of-this-world ideas.

Kristen is a web/graphic designer here at Digital Strike designing user interfaces for businesses of all types. Her work helps clients tell their brand story to website visitors, but she is also able to edit photos and design any other kind of web graphics you throw at her. Overall, she loves learning something new each day and being able to dip into other areas of design, such as video editing, motion graphics, illustration, logo design, mobile web design, etc. The design field never gets boring for Kristen who’s been designing for the web for over three years on top of having experience with traditional graphic design— most of her experience coming from agencies based right here in the St. Louis area. She’s also a proud member of the St. Louis chapter of AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts). At Digital Strike, she wants to help our clients create websites that will effectively tell their story to millions of users. She also wants them to leave with a sense of pride in their brand new website! Her hobbies outside of work include taking care of her backyard chickens while sipping a good Chianti or Chardonnay. She also loves hiking in new places, reading good historical fiction books while curling up with a nice cup of tea (she’s kind of a wine and tea snob), and doing home improvement projects (if Kristen were not a graphic designer, she would probably be an interior designer).

She is a master at analyzing the patterns that predict the most advantageous outcomes for her clients. Before working as an SEO manager, she worked as a Marketing Associate for two years at a small company, so she had to wear a lot of hats.
